PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a geometric computation processing in a three-dimensional CAD in exemption from, for example, cancellation of significant digits due to a computation sequence and significant digits in a computer. SOLUTION: The form of an object is divided into a finite number of cubic cells to form a cell space wherein each cubic cell is the smallest unit of geometric computation processing. A CAD system has a cellular geometric computation processing module 12 that determines which of the finite number of cubic cells includes a geometric computation value of the object to thus decide geometric computation values on the cell space. This can eliminate floating-point geometric computation processing to provide precise geometric computation about a single or a plurality of objects without considering computation sequence, error accumulation, and other problems.
