PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package type compressor requiring small electric power consumption by reducing power consumption of a fan cooling and ventilating inside of a package while securing necessary air quantity. SOLUTION: This package type compressor 1 is provided with a drive motor 60, an intake duct 14 for guiding cooling air flowing in from a cooling air inflow port 13 to a flow along the outer periphery of the drive motor 60, and an exhaust duct 17 for passing the cooling air guided around the motor 60 through an oil cooler 80 and then guiding the cooling air to a cooling air discharge port 16 provided inside the package 10, inside the same chamber formed inside the package 10 of the package type compressor 1. The single fan 64 for generating a flow of the cooling air from the cooling air inflow port 13 to the cooling air discharge port 16 and rotated by a fan motor 2 provided separately from the drive motor 60 is arranged on a flow passage of the cooling air from the drive motor 60 to the cooling air discharge port 16.
