HERMETIC COMPRESSOR FOR AMMONIA REFRIGERANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ozone layer destruction and global warming by using ammonia refrigerant in a hermetic compressor and to prevent dielectric breakdown of a fluororesin coating due to starting current to improve reliability. SOLUTION: The hermetic compressor 50 for the ammonia refrigerant is comprised of a compression mechanism section 60 using the ammonia refrigerant as working fluid and an electric motor 70 exposed to the ammonia refrigerant and using an aluminum electric wire coated with fluororesin, which are housed in a closed casing 80.
