PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent breaking of a seal of a sealing water part, when detergent waste water of the high concentration is drained or even when detergent waste water of the standard concentration is drained by a general flow rate or more. SOLUTION: This drain pipe system 1 is composed of a drain vertical pipe 2 arranged in the vertical direction by penetrating through respective stories, a horizontal main pipe 3 arranged in the horizontal direction, and the bend 4 arranged between the lower end of the drain vertical pipe 2 and the starting end of the horizontal main pipe 3. The waste water flowing down in the drain vertical pipe 2 is changed in the horizontal direction via the bend 4, to be drained via the horizontal main pipe 3. A ventilation pipe connecting part 41 communicating with an inside space via a communicating part 41x, is arranged on the upper side more than the axis of the bend 4, and a ventilation pipe 5 is connected to the tip of the ventilation pipe connecting part 41. Thus, even if an upper side inside space of the horizontal main pipe 2 is filled with bubbles, air in the drain pipe system 1 is smoothly drained outside, to thereby prevent the breaking of the seal of the sealing water part of a drain apparatus by an abnormal increase in pipe internal pressure.
