PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for adjusting the thickness of a coating film by which the thickness of a coating film formed of a coating material is finely adjusted and the precision of the film thickness is improved without accumulating errors and causing deflection. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a coating head 4 for supplying a coating material 5 to a material 2 to be coated, a block 9 directly attached to the coating head 4, an inclined surface 9a of the block 9 side which is formed on the lower part of the block 9, a slider 11 arranged movable back and forth on the upper surface of a receiving table 10 and an inclined surface 11a of the slider 11 side which is formed on the upper part of the slider 11 and on which the inclined surface 9a of the block 9 side is placed and is constituted so as to adjust the film thickness of the coating material 5 applied on the material to be coated through the block 9 and the coating head 4 by the back and forth movement of the slider 11.
