PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber type module capable of forming a uniform flow velocity distribution of a liquid to be treated over the whole range of the hollow fiber bundle with simple structure, and providing a desired treating efficiency. SOLUTION: This hollow fiber type module 1 is formed by: sealing both ends of the hollow fiber bundle 5 mounted in a cylindrical casing 2 with a resin composition; demarcating the casing 2 into a space of the liquid to be treated where the liquid to be treated passes, and a space of the treated liquid where the treated water passes; mounting cap members 7, 9 having connection ports serving as a supply port 6 or a discharge port 8 of the treated liquid at both ends of the casing 2; and providing connection ports serving as a pouring port 13 and a flowing out port 14 of the treated liquid at the vicinity of both ends of the casing 2.
