The delivery station (4) has a housing containing a magazine housing (6) for an insert stack (7) with an open section (8) at its base and a suction cup device (13) for movement of the bottom insert into a readiness position in which it is seized by a driven gripper (17) of a delivery device, for deposition of the insert on a collection band (1). A pusher (11) at the base of the magazine housing assists the movement of the bottom insert in the direction of the gripper, the magazine housing itself supported by a mounting (21,22) for pivoting between 2 different working positions, for extraction of the bottom insert with and without assistance of the suction cup, dependent on whether or not the insert is flexible.
