<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content storing and distributing system which easily stores and distributes contents or filters and easily collects money due without requiring providers to determine the price of the content or filter by themselves. <P>SOLUTION: The content storing and distributing system comprises; a content receiving means which receives contents which content providers have and transmit; a storage means having a plurality of storage areas for storing the received contents, the storage areas being managed in units of content providers; a content management means which distributes the stored contents to content users via a network; and a content charging means which charges for the contents in accordance with a state in which the contents is distributed.
