METHOD AND DEVICE FOR REMOVING FOREIGN MATTER IN DRIED WHITEBAIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing foreign matters in dried whitebaits enabling machine sort when the whitebaits are dried into Tokyo-style drying condition (thick and whity condition).

SOLUTION: The method for removing foreign matters in dried whitebaits comprises the following process: moving dried whitebaits just after finishing drying in Tokyo-style drying condition so as to be discharged in the air together with air at an almost fixed starting speed in a predetermined horizontal direction to sort out into the whitebaits and foreign matters in accordance with the difference in horizontal-direction reaching distance based on gravity difference. The device is provided with the following: an air blow-out part 3 blowing out air to the face side from the lower side of a net conveyor 2 transferring the whitebaits just after being dried; an ascending path 4 through which the whitebaits on the net conveyor are blown up via the air from the air blow-out part; a horizontal path 5 the lower side of which joining to the ascending path is open; a whitebaits descending path 6 at the side near the ascending path joining to the lower side of the horizontal path; a foreign-matter-descending path 7 at a side apart from the ascending path; a second air blow-out part 8 at the lower part of the whitebaits descending path; and a second foreign-matter-discharging path 9 branching out to the upper part of the second air-blow-out part from the whitebaits descending path, and crooked in a predetermined horizontal direction to flow into the foreign-matter-descending path.
