<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily realize a light emitting array which narrows a divergence angle of a light flux emitted from a light emitting element and does not produce flaring light. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting element array 5 has micro lenses 4 which are formed on the light emitting elements 2 corresponding to each light emitting element face to face, and each micro lens 4 is a separated hemispherical lens. The shape of light emitting portion of the light emitting element 2 is a rectangle, when the length of the short side of the rectangle is L min, the pitch of arrangement of the light emitting element array is P, and the diameter of the lens is D, an expression Lmin≤D≤P is met. A light source unit has the micro lens corresponding to the light emitting element formed on a transparent thin film layer face to face.
