<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display element, especially an organic EL element with high brightness having a low driving voltage of 10V or less. <P>SOLUTION: The organic EL element with high brightness having a low driving voltage can be obtained by doping at least either one of Hf, Zr, or V in IZO film as a dopant, and by forming the IZO film having low specific resistance and high transmissivity as a surface layer. In this case, the dopant may be doped discretely, namely, stepwise, or continuously. By using the IZO film including those surface layers, the composition of an intermediate layer arranged between a light emitting layer and the IZO film can be simplified, and the organic EL element having a large display surface can be easily manufactured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
