<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent troubles such as a wire breakage, due to application of an undue force through dimensional change by enabling absorption of dimensional changes. <P>SOLUTION: The extra wire length absorber comprises an absorber body 2, having a wire 51 constituting wire harness 50, a case 5 for containing the wire 51 and having an opening 5e for leading in/out the wire 51, a member 20 for urging the wire 51 in the direction for drawing into the case 5, and a harness-winding member 30 which can reciprocate, while receiving an urging force from the urging member 20. The wire 51, being led out/into the absorber body 2, is applied with a protective tube 60 for preventing the wire 51 from being damaged. A connector 80 for connection with the counterpart wire harness 90 is provided at the end part 56 of the wire 51, end part 66 of the protective tube 60 is secured to a connector case 70 capable of containing the connector 80, and the connector 80 is contained movably in the connector case 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
