PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master/slave shield machine which can detachably connect the slave cutter face plate and the master cutter face plate even if the excavation area of the slave cutter face plate is small and a hydraulic pressure and a sludge addition material can be easily supplied from the slave cutter face plate side to the master cutter face plate side. SOLUTION: In a master/slave shield machine 1 in which the master cutter face plate 4 of the master shield machine 2 and the slave cutter face plate 5 of the slave shield machine 3 are connected to each other through a detachable jack 14, a detaching jack 14 connecting the slave cutter face plate 5 is connected to the master cutter face plate 4, an inflow material introducing way 16 is formed at the tip end of the piston rod 18 of the detachable jack 14, a slave machine side inflow material pipe 20 connecting with the inflow material introducing way 16 of the piston rod 18 when connecting the detachable jack 14 to the slave cutter face plate 5 is provided, and further, a master machine side inflow material pipe 21 connecting with the inflow material introduction way 16 of the piston rod 18 at connection is provided in the cylinder 17 of the detachable jack 14.
