PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fork positioning device capable of releasing positioning of a fork with a simple operation. SOLUTION: A positioning pin 13 inserted in an upper edge portion of the fork 8 straddled on the upper portion finger bar 5 is dropped in a notch 10 formed at an upper edge of the upper portion finger bar 5 for positioning the fork 8. A cam 17 which raises the positioning pin 13 dropped in the notch 10 from an operation position to the release position positioned higher than the upper portion finger bar 5 to be retained and a lever 20 integrated with the cam are provided to release the positioning of the fork 8 in the simple operation, that is, keeping a lying lever 20 in an upright state.
