PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method by jetting a high pressure liquid that can accurately cut a second channel by suitably preventing the deformation of a cut material caused by cutting a first channel. SOLUTION: In this cutting method, a plurality of cutting lines Lx existing inside the cut material 20 are cut by relatively moving a high pressure liquid jetting means for jetting the high pressure liquid, and the cut material 20. The cutting method includes a cutting process for cutting the n-th cutting line Lx1 by jetting the high pressure liquid from the start point to the end point of the n-th cutting line Lx1 by the high pressure liquid jetting means, and a non-cutting moving process for relatively moving the high pressure liquid jetting means from a position corresponding to the end point of the n-th cutting line Lx1 into a position corresponding to the start point of the n+1-th cutting line Lx2 without cutting the cut material.
