PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound sleeved roll for hot finish rolling which is used for a finish rolling mill array of a hot strip mill. SOLUTION: In the compound sleeved roll for hot finish rolling to perform hot finish rolling of a steel strip or a steel plate, a compound sleeve formed by arranging an outer layer containing, by mass, 1.0-3.0% C, 0.2-2.0% Si, 0.2-2.0% Mn, 3.0-10.0% V, 3.0-10.0% Cr and 2.0-10% one or two kinds of Mo and W, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities around an inner layer formed of forged steel, cast steel or a rolled steel pipe containing≤1% C by a continuous tinkering method is shrinkage-fitted to a shaft of high toughness.
