PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic mold apparatus for casting, which can reduce the size, can smoothly draw out a movable core from a cast product, and can prevent the withdrawal of the core due to the injection pressure in casting, and further to provide a casting method using the same. SOLUTION: A fixed die 10 is provided with two of a first tunnel core 21 and a second tunnel core 22, which are separated from each other at a comparatively long interval. One of hydraulic cylinders 31, 32 for advancing and withdrawing these cores in the same direction at the same time is connected to each of the first tunnel core 21 and the second tunnel core 22 respectively. A supporting plate 40 capable of advancing and withdrawing by means of a cylinder 50 for the supporting plate can abut against the first tunnel core 21 and the second tunnel core 22. In casting, the supporting plate 40 abuts against the first tunnel core 21 and the second tunnel core 22, and withdrawal stopping cores 60, 60 provided on a fixed holder 12 abut against the supporting plate 40.
