PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste applicator capable of applying paste to a great number of electronic components uniformly and with a high degree of precision, and further, hard to produce any inclusion of electronic components into the paste. SOLUTION: The paste applicator is provided which keeps at least a part of the electronic component immersed in a paste layer 3 to coat the electronic component 5 with the paste. The paste applicator 1 to the electronic components comprises a paste holding member 2 provided with the paste layer 3, a paste recovery container 8 recovering the paste constituting the paste layer 3, and a past filtering device 6 filtering the paste recovered in the paste recovery container 8, which is arranged between the paste recovery container 8 and the paste holding member 2.
