PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support for disposing a drain hose of a washing machine in an appropriate channel to a drain hole just under the body of the washing machine. SOLUTION: The support 50 for the drain hose comprises support parts 52 and 54 for supporting the drain hose 103 and fixing parts 60 for fixing the support parts 52 and 54 on a side surface 101 of the washing machine. The support parts 52 and 54 have a first opening 51 for letting the drain hose 103 pass in the vertical direction and supporting the hose, and a second opening 53 for letting the hose pass in the horizontal direction and supporting the hose. Accordingly, the drain hose 103 extending from a switching valve 105 can be drawn out in the direction toward the drain hole 104, avoiding movable parts 106a and 107 etc., and supported.
