PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking apparatus which can remove foreign material included in the fluid in the cooking tank during cooking, enhance workability and cooking efficiency, and circulate the fluid smoothly after completely removing the foreign material. SOLUTION: The cooking apparatus provides an oil tank 1 in which a specified amount of oil can be stored and ingredients can be contained, gas burner 3 to heat the oil contained in the oil tank 1 and a heat exchanger 4. On the cooking device which can cook the ingredients contained in the oil tank 1, a depression 7 formed on the bottom of the oil tank 1, a bladed wheel 6 capable of turning in the depression 7 and absorbing the oil contained in the oil tank 1, a flow channel 8 to guide the oil absorbed by the bladed wheel 6 to the oil tank 1 and a trap net 9 installed between the edge of the flow channel 8 and the oil tank 1 to catch foreign material included in the oil.
