A furniture two-part mortise hinge (1) has a countersunk cup (2') with a pivot linked by an arm (15) to a second half (2). The arm is also coupled to the cup by two profiled (8, 8') springs (6, 6') acting on the arm shank (7, 7'). The spring profiles had different operational sequences.
