The process involves acquiring a code of a transmitted electronic-mail, and reconstituting a data communication from a receiver (9) to an electronic-mail server (4) of a sender. The data communication is used to verify whether the electronic-mail, received by the receiver, was transmitted from the sender mentioned in the electronic-mail. The data communication between the receiver and the sender is then stopped. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a computer program product with a program code for computer controlled execution of a process for verification of an electronic mail transmission (B) a system for verification of an electronic mail transmission.
