Composition (A) comprises a synergistic combination of an anthranilic acid amide (I) and at least one other insecticide (II). Composition (A) comprises a synergistic combination of an anthranilic acid amide of formula (I) and at least one other insecticide (II) A 1>, A 2> : O or S; X 1> : N or CR 10>; R 1>-R 5>, R 8> : H or various substituents, or R 2> and R 3> together complete a ring M; R 7> : H, 1-4C (halo)alkyl, halo, 1-4C (halo)alkoxy or 1-4C (halo)alkylS(O) x; x : 0-2; and R 9> : 1-4C haloalkyl, haloalkoxy, halalkylsulfonyl or halo.
