<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a physician can obtain an image information display having evocative force and capable of being used in diagnosing. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of two-dimensional individual images of an inspection range in the form of fluorescent images are photographed by photoexcitation of the fluorescent range of the inspection range under the utilization of a medical device invasively inserted into the inspection range. 3D fluorescent image data set suitable for three-dimensional reconstitution of fluorescent volume images of the inspection range is made, and another 3D image data set suitable for three-dimensional reconstitution of other volume images of the inspection range obtained by other inspection modality is used. One or a plurality of important regions having fluorescent optical characteristics in the inspection range are displayed in another volume image in precise position on a monitor based on a mapping rule, and the spatial position of one or a plurality of important regions having fluorescent optical characteristics in the inspection range are obtained in the 3D fluorescent image data set, and only these extracted part ranges are displayed in the other volume image in precise position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
