OPTICAL ELEMENT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR OPTICAL ELEMENT AND OPTICAL PICKUP DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem in which an optical element molded from glass material or resin material shows variation in aberration performance due to conditions in molding and an astigmatic angle is not stabilized.

SOLUTION: To the optical element in which the relationship between outside diameter G(mm) and the minimum wall thickness T(mm) for the optical element is identical to 6≤G/T≤21, a marking is applied to the outside diameter part for the optical element corresponding to a direction (an angle) in which the astigmatism appears. The optical element is assembled into the position with the optimal angle corresponding to its mark when assembled into a pickup device.
