<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which data traffic is not increased and image formation is not delayed even when an image is formed on a sheet on the basis of image data after the acquired image data is transferred temporarily to an information processor. <P>SOLUTION: When a document take-in operation is instructed from an information processor PC1-PCn, a compound machine 1 transfers image data generated from a document take-in section 13 to the information processor PC1-PCn and stores the image data in a memory section 17.
