<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen a color adjustment range, and to realize the hue adjustment of a user designated color without losing the continuity of the color. <P>SOLUTION: This hue adjusting device of color image data is provided with a means which displays hue characteristics as a graph on a hue ring, a means which designates a hue position where desired characteristics can be acquired for each hue for the displayed hue characteristics and a means which changes the hue characteristics on the basis of the designated hue position (HAJ of a PC). The PC displays the YCbCr hue ring of an image represented by RGB data (s5, s6), and a user designates a change object hue and a target hue on the hue ring, and the PC executes the interpolation adjustment of each hue in a hue region on the basis of the change object hue, target hue and the boundary hue of the hue range to which the change object hue belongs (s5, s14/s5a, s14a). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
