<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure fixation power in the midst of warming-up processing and also to secure image quality related to a first image forming job by contriving timing to perform a processing correction mode while realizing the shortening of warming-up time. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus for forming an image on a photoreceptor drum 71 based on image information related to an optional image forming job is equipped with an image forming means 70 for forming the image on the drum 71 when operation to form an image for adjusting processing operation on the drum 71 and correct an image forming system for adjusting a processing operation condition by reading the said image is defined as the processing correction mode, and a control means 15 for performing the warming-up processing of the image forming means 70 with turning on a power source, monitoring the input of the image information related to the first image forming job in the image forming means 70 and determining the timing to perform the processing correction mode based on an effect that the image information is inputted or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
