<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a system capable of precisely and efficiently managing a rented item lent in a set. <P>SOLUTION: In lending items in a set, a set number common between the respective rented items and a set size representing the number of rented items included in the set are registered in a lending ledger database 1036 in association with the item name and a lending period.
