<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel slicing device capable of shortening a slicing time, slicing simultaneously a plurality of samples without enlarging a structure, improving extraction accuracy, and surely slicing. <P>SOLUTION: This gel slicing device is provided with a base 2 where gel 4 is placed upward, a slicing appliance 8 arranged over the base 2, for slicing a prescribed part of the gel 4 placed on the base 2, and a work arm mechanism 10 for performing a slicing operation of the prescribed part of the gel 4 by the slicing appliance 8 by moving the slicing appliance 8 in the X, Y-directions parallel to the surface of the base 2 and in the Z-direction vertical to the surface of the base 2. The device is equipped with a plurality of work arm mechanisms 10. Since the plurality of work arm mechanisms 10 are arranged, X, Y, Z-driving parts can be driven independently, and thereby the slicing work can be shortened, and an isolation work becomes possible without a change of an internal structure of DNA or a protein resulting from gel drying. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
