PERSONAL COMPUTER INPUT DEVICE FOR PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED PERSON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal computer input device for a physically handicapped person enabling even the high-degree physically handicapped person to perform input to a personal computer.

SOLUTION: This personal computer input device 10 for a physically handicapped person has: a transmitter 11 for enabling the physically handicapped person to input a signal by the use of one or both input organs of a tongue and a fingertip; and a receiver 12 for receiving a signal from the transmitter 11 and converting it into a signal allowing input to the personal computer. The transmitter 11 has a touch input part 13 including a pad part 19 for detecting a position of pressing force by the input organ and converting it into an electric signal; a control part 14 including a transmission circuit 18 for modulating the signal from the touch input part 13 to generate a wireless signal; and a battery 15 for supplying power to the touch input part 13 and the control part 14. The receiver 12 has a reception circuit 30 for receiving the wireless signal from the transmission part 11.
