<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film solar cell of which back electrode film oxidation can be prevented, and to provide a manufacturing method for the thin film solar cell, by which the thin film solar cell can be manufactured without increasing of steps of process. <P>SOLUTION: The thin film solar cell has, at least, a transparent insulation substrate 1, a transparent and electrically conductive film 2, a photoelectric conversion film 3 and a back electrode film 50 which are formed on the substrate 1 in order and are divided into a plurality of power generation regions.
