<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin coated metal tube which has flame retardancy and flexibility, and easy-to-cut nature that its sheath can be cut easily and finely and easy-to-draw nature that the cut sheath can be drawn easily, and to obtain a flame retardant resin composition giving these characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The flame retardant resin composition incorporates 100 pts. wt. of a base resin composition (mentioned below), 0.5-3 pts. wt. of a 18-22C fatty acid amide, and magnesium hydroxide or calcium carbonate or a mixture thereof, and its hardness is≤50 in terms of a durometer D value. The above base resin composition consists of 70-95 pts. wt. of an ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer or an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer or a mixture thereof and 5-30 pts. wt. of a thermoplastic crosslinking resin or 5-10 pts. wt. of an ethylene-propylene random copolymer or 5-10 pts. wt. of a mixture thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
