<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting a setting angle of vehicular radar installation without requiring a vast work space ahead of a car. <P>SOLUTION: In this adjusting method, a reference object is allocated in the position ahead of and distant from the car, a beam is radiated changing the radiative direction forward the car, electromagnetic wave including a reflective beam from the reference object is received through a radar means, a peak section to the reflective beam from the reference object is extracted among all the peak sections individually including their own maximum points which are located in the distribution curve to show a distribution of received electric field intensity on the received electromagnetic wave for both radiating direction and a seceded distance of the beam, and then allow the method to be adjusted for each extracted peak section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
