PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly determine a state of each tire without changing the number of times of information dispatch on a tire side. SOLUTION: The tire pressure monitoring device comprises a tire pressure sensor 10 attached to each of traveling tires 1 to 4 and a spare tire 5, and detecting each tire pressure; a transmitting antenna 10e for transmitting at least detected tire pressure by a radio signal with a tire identifying code; and a receiving antenna 13b attached to a vehicle body side, and receiving the radio signal from the transmitting antenna 10e. An alarm controller 13 changes ID of the traveling tire and non-traveling tire when a variation valueΔt of a receiving signal from either one of the traveling tires 1 to 4 is not more than a variation thresholdΔt0 and a variation valueΔt of a receiving signal from the spare tire 5 exceeds the variation thresholdΔt0.
