PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data presentation apparatus that can be downsized and whereby a desired part of data can surely be pointed out. SOLUTION: A camera unit 60A is provided with a pointing unit 60B. A light source 65 of the pointing unit 60B emits light, which light transmits through a panel 66 and is reflected in a beam splitter 64, then a point image M is projected on a stereoscopic object on a turntable through a zoom lens 62. The point image projected on the stereoscopic object is photographed by the camera unit 60A and displayed on a screen. Thus, a prescribed part of the stereoscopic object can be pointed out. In this case, the field angle of the camera unit 60A can properly be set by adjusting a turning angle of the turntable and a tilt angle of an arm or the like while referencing the point image displayed on the screen, so that the point image can be moved with respect to the stereoscopic object.
