PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily eliminate a backlash between a follower pin and a cam groove in a lens driving device with the follower pin and the cam groove. SOLUTION: The lens driving device is provided with lens frames 40, 50 which are freely guided forward and backward in the optical axis direction L and also hold lenses G1, G2, follower pins 44, 54 arranged on the lens frames, and a cylindrical cam 70 with cam grooves 71, 72 for making a cam action to the follower pins so as to move the lens frames in the optical axis direction, wherein the cam grooves 71, 72 are formed with a cross sectional surface tapered toward the groove bottom, and as to the follower pins 44, 55, the tip parts 44a, 54a engaged in the cam grooves are formed spherically. Thus, the backlashes between the follower pins 44, 54 and the cam grooves 71, 72 are hard to be caused, and since the follower pin has only to be attached so as to be in contact with the groove at two points on the spherical surface of the follower pin even if the backlash is produced, an adjustment for eliminating the backlashes can be performed easily.
