PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein the transport error is different according to whether or not a medium to be transported is a last one in a storage part. SOLUTION: A printing device comprises a storage part in which media to be printed are stacked and stored, and a transport member to transport the media from the storage part. When the transport member transports the media from the storage part, the driving quantity of the transport member when transporting the last medium in the storage part is different from the driving quantity of the transport member when other media remain in the storage part.
