PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a grip body to a height where all of occupants with different physiques can use the body comfortably. SOLUTION: This assist grip AG comprises a rail supporting member 30 mounted to a vehicle body pillar 14 while a guide groove 33 extends upward and downward, a slide member 40 mounted to a required position of the grip body 20 and slidable along the guide groove 33, a plurality of first locking parts 50 installed to the rail supporting member 30, and second locking parts 52 engaged with or disengaged from the respective first locking parts 50 by an operation of a finger tip operating part 26. In this assist grip AG, when the finger tip operating part 26 is operated to release a locking state of the second locking parts 52 relative to the first locking parts 50, the elevating movement of the grip body 20 is allowed. When the second locking part 52 is locked with any of the first lock parts 50, a stationary position of the grip body 20 relative to the vehicle pillar 14 is changed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
