Cylinder equalization method for fuel injection in automobile engine using adaption of fuel injection parameters via learned adaption values

The equalization method detects the uneven running of the engine by measurement of each of the engine cylinders at an operating point in the low rev range, for equalization of the fuel injection quantity differences at higher loadings and revs using learned adaption values for adaption of respective injection parameter values. During the adaption the dynamic variation of the operating point with each injection parameter value is limited.
