<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attendance management service system using the Internet which can provide an attendance management service by using a terminal such as a mobile telephone and an Internet line. <P>SOLUTION: Site sticks for automatically connecting with an application server in interlocking with a mobile telephone are distributed to an office. When a worker attends at work or leaves the office, one of the site sticks is attached to the mobile telephone. A character string of a ciphered ID number which is different each time is generated in the site stick and added as a variable behind the URL of the application server, and one variable is imparted as the URL to the mobile telephone. Further, the site stick connects the mobile telephone to the application server through the Internet by using the URL with the variable.
