<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a protection controller performing operation for protection and operation for measurement by taking in the voltage and current of a power system wherein, since input converters and analog input sections are provided, respectively, for protection and measurement, hardwares are increased in number to cause disadvantage in cost. <P>SOLUTION: An input converter 10 is used commonly for protection and measurement. An analog input section 20 for measurement is assigned to an idle channel for protection, the full-scale of measurement is set N times that of protection and a corrected value is employed for measurement operation at an operation processing section 30. Alternatively, an analog input section for failure detection relay is used commonly and the operation idle time of the failure detection relay is utilized for measurement operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
