<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and certainly transmit rotation of a steering input shaft to a steering output shaft, by eliminating backlash between first and second sun gears and first and second planetary gears. <P>SOLUTION: A long hole 53 extending in the center axis direction is formed in carrier plates 36a and 36b. This power steering device has a coil spring 56 for bearing both ends of the bearing shaft 38 radially movably in the long hole 53 and energizing both ends of the bearing shaft 53 toward the center axis direction.
