PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve-timing adjusting device preventing slack at portions where components of a housing are mutually fastened with a bolt. SOLUTION: A relative rotation angle range of a vane 16a is defined by abutting an outer side wall face 17 in both sides in the rotational direction of the vane 16a on an inner side wall face 14 of a peripheral wall member 13 defining an angle range of a storage chamber 50 in the rotational direction. On the outer side wall face 17 of the vane 16a, a projecting part 17a projecting in the rotational direction toward the inner side wall face 14 on which the projecting part 17a is abutted is formed outside in a rotational shaft direction of a fastening range d where a fastening part 13b of the peripheral wall member 13 is fastened with the bolt 20 in the rotational shaft direction. Since a central point 200 of force applied when the projecting part 17a collides against the inner side wall face 14 is positioned outside the fastening range d in the rotational shaft direction, an annular part 13a of the peripheral wall member 13 positioned in a front plate 15 side from the fastening part 13b is bent in the rotational direction, due to the force applied when the projecting part 17a collides against the inner side wall face 14.
