PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the life of a heat exchanger. SOLUTION: In this heat exchanger, a turbulent flow generating means is installed in a flow passage formed on the outer periphery of a heating element to generate turbulent flow in the flow passage. Since deposits such as scale generated on the surface of the heating element can be peeled off by the turbulent flow, the deposition of them can be prevented, high efficiency can be realized with small size and life can be increased.
