PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip closed screwing type steel pipe pile having a pile body capable of sufficiently withstanding a large soil pressure acting thereon in installation without increasing the plate thickness of a steel pipe, having an excellent intrusion performance, and capable of providing a large tip supporting force. SOLUTION: In this tip closed screwing type steel pipe pile 1, a blade 3 is installed at or near the tip part of the steel pipe 2 and intruded and buried in a ground by providing a rotating force to the steel pipe 2. A buckling prevention member 10 formed of a steel material is installed on the inner wall of the steel pipe 2 at or near the portion thereof receiving a large soil pressure.
