METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GO STONE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a go stone having handling with the combination of a touch like a natural material and weightiness. SOLUTION: A vertical hole penetrating the center part of an upper part of a mold is a resin material pouring hole. A support hole provided on the middle part of a lower part of the mold supports a support 7 for supporting a lead piece 6 in a floating state in a space. A through hole 8 is provided on the center part of the lead piece 6 so that the support 7 is slightly press-fit. The support 7 is a rodlike work of the same resin material as a molded part. Inserting one end of the support 7 into the hole 8 and the other end into the support hole of the lower part of the mold keeps the lead piece 6 in the floating state in the space. Thereby the go stones having the handling with the combination of the touch and the weightiness like natural go stones are inexpensively and stably mass-produced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
