PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress apparatus which can lift the head section and the leg section of a user by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This mattress apparatus is used by the user in such a manner that the head section is positioned on the upper surface of one end section in the longitudinal direction, and the leg section is positioned on the upper surface of the other end section in the longitudinal direction. The mattress apparatus is equipped with a bendable spring unit 5, a linear fixing annular member which is integrally provided on both sides of the outer peripheral section of the spring unit, and a hinge mechanism 13 which is attached to the end section of the fixing annular member in a manner to be able to hold the fixing annular member turnably at a specified turning angle. The mattress device is also equipped with a pair of approximately U-shaped movable annular members 12a and 12b which are connected with the hinge mechanism, are integrally provided on the outer peripheral sections of one end section on the head section side and the other end section on the leg section side of a cushion body, and bend one end section on the head section side and the other end section on the leg section side of the cushion body when being turned and raised by the hinge mechanism, and an exterior fabric which covers the cushion body.
