The rotor (71) is capable of transmitting switch or gas lever forces and comprises a first transmission part (72) actively connected to a switch actuator (82) and a second transmission part (79) actively connected to a switch or gasifier. The active connections are via flexible tensile parts (80, 85). A first rotor (31) is used to transmit brake or clutch actions and the above second rotor is used to transmit switch or gas lever actions. The flexible tensile parts are switch cables. The rotor is located above or below a steering tube (21) acting as a casing for the rotor and as a bearing for a bicycle fork (8). The rotor has a purely mechanical construction and contains two transmission parts which are rotatable relative to each other.
