Roller path for shelves and sliding shelves has rollers that each have the shape of a hyperbolic parabola along their longitudinal surface. Thus they are thicker at the ends (1) and thinner in the middle (2). Additionally notches (3) are provided shortly before the outer ends of the rollers. The notches are used to position the rollers in opposing straight guide edges.
